My Memory: 2017

Dear diary, hmmm... this two word make me think of one of my favorite drama, The Vampire Diaries which I get addicted since secondary two till now. 6 years of time and now finally ended. When come to the final episode, different kind of feeling flash through my mind. Sorry I am that kind of emotional person haha. Okay...let's get back to Sriya's diary now. Be prepared, it’s gonna be a long long diary. Take a deep breath, here we go.

As I mentioned earlier, my school started on this year, my third semester just ended. No doubt, uni life is all about quiz and exam. At the beginning, it was quite tough, mostly because of everything turn into English language and my English is not strong enough, need to work harder & harder to catch up everything. I believe in no pain no gain. I can see my own progress compared to two years back. One day, I will speak fluent English, write a good English essay... Semester 4 going to start soon, hope everything goes smoothly.

March. I've completed my very first 21.1km half marathon. I didn't really practice much before it. On the race day, I still hesitated, thinking that should I participate or not?I don't think I can make it within the cut off time and what if I faint on the halfway Hahaha... End up I still decide to go. Recall the past, I really made the right choice. The half marathon started at 2 am midnight. I felt worn out when I reach 16km, can't feel my leg... What motivated me to keep on going is the crew that standing on the roadside encouraging all of us, saying that we are so close to the finish line and not to give up. I can't remember how long it takes, I finally reach the finish line, the crew gave me A medal, and drink. She said: Congrats, you made it. I am about to cry, just can't believe that I really made it!!!! Can't use a word to describe the satisfaction that I feel. All the tiredness is worth it. It's an unforgettable memory in my life. Achievement unlock!!! Looking forward to challenges 42km full marathon, but this really needs to be fully prepared Hahaha!

June. My darling Xue Xin's sister gets married. Exciting news ever!!! We are all (8p) invited to the wedding and be 姐妹. I finally got to meet my princess after the long wait. I just miss them so much. This is my very first time to be a 姐妹. It's quite fun to prank the 兄弟 on the game section, toothpaste inside the oreo biscuits, Korea spicy noddles with chili padi, drink coke with 10+ of combining straw and bla bla bla..... Why are we so mean Hahahaha. The wedding dinner venue is decorated with plants and varieties of flower, I was like WOW when I reach there, it is more of a western style wedding dinner. I like it so much! I got a little drunk again on the dinner. Ya, again... the terrible drinking capacity as usual. Sigh!!! when can I improve a little more. We left after lunch on the next day, saying goodbye is the hardest part. Departing is to leave a hope for the next meet, I always said to myself to avoid the sadness of saying goodbye.

July, I have a short getaway to Melaka with friends. Sadly, this the only vacation I went in 2017, busy around with study and exam..... It's three days two nights trip and is all about food Hahahaha...We play the reality 狼人杀 every night, so much fun. I think some of them should get the best actor award. Hahaha. We went to the husky house also, OMG!!! they are so adorable!!! Although I have a sensitive nose, still can't stop my madness to the cute husky. Ya, I think that's it, the rest of time is eating, eating and eating. A Fun and relaxing trip with the right people. Now to the sad news. My cousin brother had passed away in an accident. I feel the heartbreak in my heart. I just can't believe this really happened. We used to grow up together, we were each other childhood playmate... On the cremation funeral, my tears can't stop falling down, I would never think that saying goodbye need that much of courage, I wish this is just a dream. May you rest in peace, my cousin brother. This is what they said the cruelty in life, nobody can predict what's going to happen in the next second, cherish every moment, everyone in your life. I appreciate the consolation that has been given to me during this hardest time.

September. A special month for me. Me and my brother birthday fall in the same month. 13th of Sept is my brother 21st birthday. How time flies, we were still kids yesterday, now has grown up to an adult. My dear brother, I want to said thank you, I got a chance to further studies because of your sacrifice. You tell me I can do what I want to, and you will always support me. I love you.
Yeppp.. I am officially twenty years old on 26th Sept. Twenty years old sounds like so old hahaha no more teenage TT. This year birthday falls on my final exam week!! Urghhhhh... Even though my mood got affected by this stupid final exam, but it's still happy that my friends and family celebrating this special day with me. What made this unforgettable is the 3 chocolate cake for this birthday! Hahaha. Thanks for the wishes, treat, and present. I am so grateful.

Hmmm... I've ended my 2 years relationship... It's so sad to say that we are not the right person to each other. I appreciate the good care of these two years. Thanks for the good memories, I will keep it all deep inside my heart. I hope you are all good :)
I think this is all for 2017. Trying to squeeze all the memory in one post, see how lazy I am. Oh, Yah!!! I've signed up for the swimming lesson in November. I always wanted to learn how to swim since primary school and now finally have a chance. One more important thing to mention, My beloved sinlui getting ROM on the coming 1st of Jan!!! Further detail please refer to my next post. Hahaha
2017 is my second years in SG. The third years live without my parents. I miss the day when I wake up I'll see my mum, dad, and brother. I miss home. 2017 is ending in four more days. Thank those people who still with me from then to now. I wish you guys a Happy New Year and have a good year ahead!
